Apartment Hunting in Idaho Falls: What to Look for Before Signing a Lease

Finding the perfect apartment in Idaho Falls is an exciting step, but choosing the right community is just as important as finding a floor plan you love. Before signing a lease, take time to consider your budget, amenities, location, and the features that will make your new apartment feel like home.

1. Find a Floor Plan That Fits Your Lifestyle

Think about how much space you need and how you plan to use it. Whether you're looking for a cozy one-bedroom or a spacious two-bedroom or three-bedroom apartment, make sure the layout fits your everyday routine. At The Residences at First Street Apartments, we offer spacious floor plans designed to make apartment living comfortable and convenient.

2. Look for Convenient In-Home Features

Everyday conveniences can make a big difference! Look for apartments with full-size washers and dryers, plenty of storage, spacious closets, and fully equipped kitchens. At The Residences at First Street Apartments, our apartments include these features to help make daily life easier, so you can spend less time worrying about chores and more time enjoying your home.

3. Check Out the Community Amenities

Amenities can add value to your apartment living experience. Before signing a lease, ask which amenities are included in your rent. Our Idaho Falls community features a fitness center, clubhouse, swimming pool, hot tub, playground, and outdoor grills, giving residents plenty of ways to relax, stay active, and enjoy their surroundings.

4. Consider Location and Convenience

Think about how close your apartment is to shopping, restaurants, work, and local attractions. Choosing a convenient location can make your daily routine easier and give you more opportunities to explore Idaho Falls.

5. Understand Your Lease and Move-In Costs

Before signing, review your lease term, monthly rent, additional fees, parking options, and move-in expenses. Make sure you understand the terms and ask questions about anything that is unclear.

At The Residences at First Street Apartments, we want your apartment search to feel simple and stress-free.
